Bio"I" am a multiple, a member of the growing multiple community/multiplicity movement, and do not consider my multiplicity a disorder.
Boy, am I finding it hard to locate others who feel the same way, to have a conversation with.
(There are eight of "me" who want to have conversations....more of "me" deeper inside, who don't want to talk. But as "my" son said a couple of years ago..."Mom, every one of you is normal!")
I like this Livejournal thing where other multis are talking like I talk, feeling like I feel. I don't want to be "fixed"....I'm not broken, when it comes to my multiplicity. I'm just multi.
And I feel pretty damn discriminated against whenever I say anything about it. It's like - keep it a secret, or get it fixed.
Well that's b******llsh********t.
"I" (we) respect other multis' right to choose integration, or therapy for other reasons.....we simply want our rights respected too.
So... going to see if we can connect with other 'oaky multis' on Livejournal. Wish us luck, because we're still computer illiterate :)
